I was driving and daydreaming today about getting more bass in my Land Cruiser. I had good success with other vehicles where I didnt want to mess with much by grabbing high level inputs and running them through a small amp.
I already have 8ga wiring run to the rear for a fridge, any reason I couldnt take the high level sub wiring, run it through a small Class D amp, and run it to a better sub in the existing enclosure with some polyfill?
I havent pulled my sub enclosure out yet, was wondering if there would be value in wrapping the whole thing with fiberglass for some added rigidity or is it pretty good and able to handle a better woofer?
Something like this?
