Anyone else have an Up-n-Over Rear Bumper? Towing Q. (1 Viewer)

Does anyone else have an Up-n-Over rear bumper? If so, I'm wondering what the towing capacity is on a setup like this. I'm contemplating a pop-up for family camping, and was wondering if the receiver bolted onto the bumper was in the 5K# range or not?

That is going to depend a lot on what is behind it to back it up.

That custom bumper on there may or may not be a replacement for the 3rd cross member and both the cross member (if it is there) and the bumper have been cut inside the rails to port the exhaust.

Unless you have some real reinforcement behind it to prevent twisting & or caving, I wouldn't put much more than a bike rack on it.

IMHO. I am not a structural engineer.
