Anyone done an H55 swap? (1 Viewer)

I'm preparing to do this job this weekend and have questions about dropping the old H42 & installing the new trans without hurting ourselves (truck will be on a lift and we have a trans jack).

If anyone here has done this and is willing to talk LMK (PM or 734-272-5345). Thanks!

p.s. once out the old H42+tcase combo will be up for sale locally if you're interested - I believe 38mm idler tcase but need to confirm, runs and shifts fine but w/270k miles would benefit from a rebuild before it goes back into something

Cool - I bought the new setup from Georg, those guys rock. I'm trying to figure out the right sequencing of jacking/engine support/cross member installation - FSM and a few threads here help, and we'll take it slow.

I'll post pics & price once we have the old unit out. Georg offered to buy it but even better if someone local wants it.
