?? Anyone buy a Columbian 1/2 Tub ??

Has anyone purchased a columbian 1/2 tub? My rear tub is in need of complete rebuild....adding up all the panels I need might as well install a prebuilt 1/2 tub

I would be wary of Columbian parts fitting - do some searches... and my rear fenders from Columbia were a disaster - mis-fitting by 1/2-3/4" in various places.

So far I have found a couple sellers of aftermarkket 1/2 tubs...who has had any experance with any??

Show us photos of your tub - is it really that bad? I didn't believe in extensive patching until I installed a Columbian quarter panel. There's a lot right with an OEM tub!

Both my top rails (hardtop mount) are swiss cheese.. the drivers side of tub has 3 patches poorly done bed has a few rot thru's and pretty beat.
I just started adding the replacement parts needed to fix mine

Rear bed panel $395.00
Rear bes support $85.00
Rear sill $350.00
Rear sill cover $85.00
Quarter Panels 2x$155.00 = $310.00

Totaling $1225.00 + shipping
I dont weld so ?hrs x $50.00 an HR....say 8hrs = $400.00

Adds up fast... have read that people have had issues with panel fitment....so buying a full half tub makes that a non issue

Occasionally a good tub comes up for sale. I passed on one three weeks ago for $900, since I don't actually have a Series 40, yet.
