I have a vehicle that I'm interested in Sioux City (on the SD side). Is anyone familiar with LaFleur Auto or close to 205 South Derby Lane?

I'd only need a quick, couple minute once over, not a detailed inspection....

Anyone? Thanks in advance!

I almost hate to say this but you might get a better response by posting this in chat. I would say another club house but I don't think there is one for SD... you could try IA-tall corn cruisers.

Thanks, Rob! I posted it in the SD clubhouse the other day but haven't had any bites...I just posted it in the IA clubhouse, though. We'll see...

It's only about 1.5 hours or so of a drive, but I'd rather not bother with wasting half a day just to get up there and see the car all beat up. It looks good in the photos, but they're not the best quality...

I'm looking at the 4th gens...really want the V8. :D

I'm not looking too hard, most of them are more than I want to spend. But I found one that is seemingly a very, very good deal...but that makes me wonder if something is wrong with it.

Red flags pop up on that in my mind. Really good deal on a dealer lot in an area that had record flooding the year before...

Have you run the VIN through Carfax or similar to make sure you're not looking at a flood salvaged car?

No, it hasn't gotten to that point yet. Title status is always one of the first things I check.

So far all I've seen is some low-res photos, the price tag, and I've been told the timing belt/water pump was changed as recommended by Toyota at 90k miles, and I was told it's "clean".

Maybe it's clean because it was "washed off" with flood water??? :flipoff2:
