Anybody use an oil filter relo kit? (1 Viewer)

Changed the oil on the new LX450 today....there has got to be a better location for the filter.
Now I know why there is so much oil down the side of the block and on the frame and linkage...., the dang filter is pointed down hill, must be part of the undercarriage lubrication system. LOL

So, anybody relocate their oil filter to someplace less messy service from?

Works great slide a ziplock bag over the filter prior to removing and you will not loose a drop.

Totally agree, I do however see the benefit of full filter regardless how bad the drain back valve is.

I been meaning to do this but with how little I drive the LX I hardly change oil even.

Both sizes fit and due to the way it mounts do you even need a drain back valve?
