Anybody have some plans for shackels? (1 Viewer)

Didn't find anything in a search. I wanted to make some shackels and would like some plans, sizes and so on. Also, if I'm making them should I go with anti-inversions?

My machinist buddy made me some shackles
Cold-Roll 3/16th x 2inch flat stock...also upgraded to 5/8th's bolts/bushings.

if you want simple make some "rubicon" shackles. just two sperate pieces of flat stock steel. if you dont weld them together they are flew better.

They will flex (flew?) better, however, that will destroy the shoulder on the bushings over time...

Do any of you know sizes? What's stock? I would like just about a 1/2 inch lift when all is said and done... I guess I can draw some out but I need specs and what bolts fit.

The previous owner made these on the rear of my 40. Two bits of steel and 3 bolts.
