If I paint my 40 (that is SOA) I'm thinking about going to the stock steel wheels with the stock center caps just because I love that look. Any body have one set up this way with tall skinny tires that looks nicely proportioned and care to share a pic?

I can’t help you with pics but seems like it’d be cool with widened stock steelies!

Or get some custom widened wheels with factory centers.

got my new oem wheels widened what color should i paint them

SOA w/ Stock springs or lift springs?

If you want to run "pizza cutter's" I'd recommend finding 16" rims. CityRacer sells 16's that have clips. Running 16" rims will open up some tall narrow tire options. If you search the 40 forum you'll see quite a few folks run 235 85 r16 or 255 85 r16. I've posted a few photo's of 235's on my SUA w/ 2.5" lift springs.
