Anybody ever did any work on the instrument cluster / speedo of an Accord or similar? (1 Viewer)

Trying to figure out what is wrong with a 95 Accord speedo of a buddy of mine.
Stuck at about 20 most of the time. Every so often will go back to operation.
I think the speed sensor on the trans is good. I can see the speedo needle vibrate at a speed commensurate with the car speed even when it's stuck at 20. Afraid it's not just a ground but something more serious.
Anybody?

These cars have a VSS should be right under next to distributor... It is a pretty common failure.... I work at a Honda dealer as a service consultant it happens pretty regularly... If you need any parts I get them at cost+10%.
