I have found a 2002 HJ78 frame/axels from a pickup/ute, and started thinking about putting an HJ47 pickup onto it. has anyone tried such a thing? What are the thoughts on this? I did a quick search for similar topics, so I appologise in advance if there is already a thread about this that I did not find.
I would make an extra cab out of the HJ47 cab, and then use the Aqualu tub for the 6" longer tub. The advantage to buying just this frame and axles is that I can pack it into the can with my LX when we move back to the US, so it would not cost too much to get it home.
