Any solutions for new Tan / Ivory interior door weather strip? (1 Viewer)

I'd like to start replacing door weather stripping and as expected I'm unable to source the interior door trim that is Ivory / Tan with the black rubber strip. I've looked in Japan and UAE without luck.

My thought is perhaps buying the "gray" , removing the "New" black weather strip from gray trim piece and then attaching that to my Ivory/Tan trim.

Am I missing another way to get new seals without having a mismatch trim piece which is unacceptable?

I've gone through the circle jerk with the multiple Parts Aggregators for Japan and the UAE.

Here's what you get:

It will show as available, and you order the exact part numbers. They will charge your card and you wait 7 days and then get an e-mail saying that Toyota discontinued them, they are NLA with no NOS and then tell you -AO is now superseded to -BO and would then like to send you Gray... They then thank you and tell you that they will remove them from their website.

So basically - They are not.... Unless you have a source, then I'm all ears

The company that i work with will not charge you until they will have confirmed that it is avillable and the web site is up to date with Toyota stoke

Yep - I knew it was a crap shoot, but figured I try them all and hopefully get somewhere. Next up Amayama and see what they say. My $ is that its the same. Supersede to -B0 and they think thats ok....

Well Amayama is going to end badly as well. These guys just don't understand soft goods with specific colors. I've had 4 emails trying to explain to them that under no circumstances are they to send the parts that I specified in - A0 if their system tells them to replace with - B0

They guy actually told me to delete - A0 and specify - B0 in my order if I want to get the - A0 parts. This is telling me that they don't understand. I get it.... They can only tell me what the parts system tells them.

Hopefully when they receive them (guaranteed ending in -B0) that they e-mail me telling me that, and give me a chance to cancel my order. Otherwise looks like I'll have a nice expensive set of door seals in Gray.

The saga continues.
