Any shortcut to get new sunroof glass in, or do I really need to take the entire interior apart? (1 Viewer)

I picked up a replacement sunroof glass panel at a scrapyard after a tree fell on mine. I understand the correct way to replace it is to take down all the interior trim and the headliner. Has anyone found a shortcut? I have a Front Runner rack on the truck, so I don't really care if it opens- as long as it's sealed.

I'm almost positive the glass itself is only held on by 4 nuts. They are readily apparent when you pull off the black plastic trim pieces around the frame on the inside. (Look at the FSM page BO-74.)

Now if the tracks or something else is damaged, you may have to remove the trim and headliner.

to take out the glass, you do not have to drop the headliner. there are some trim pieces that you have to remove, and they will almost certainly break when you remove them. but it's just 4 nuts.
