I'm curious to know if anyone still produces sliding windows? If not what is my best option? I'm thinking about just getting factory ones from Australia. Thought I would check with you guys first

If you can find them, get them.
My rig is pretty heavily modified. If I had to choose only one mod to keep, those sliding cargo windows would probably be the one. When I lived in Lake Tahoe, where it almost never rains, I'd open them in the spring and leave them open until fall.

lynchmob had a few sets 4 months ago, unfortunately I think he sold them all.

I found one side oem. I'm gonna grab it. Ones better than none. Sliding windows are the one thing I wanted to do before I even bought my truck lol

Has anyone purchased the new SOR windows? Do they fit like factory glass?

Wasn't Kevin Rowland doing a flip up? That seems more useful to me.
I saw those. It's slick that's got sure, however it depends on the use. Camping.. Flip up, solely for my fur babies in the back.. Slider.

Haha awesome. Big clowns huh.
Hey do your dobbies twirl when your walking them?

After reading about the fitment issues with the Australian glass as well as the 1st gen SOR glass, I'm going with the gen 2 SOR windows. I'm curious as to why they are tinted already. I'm not a fan of tint, but looks like I'm gonna tint my whole truck

I have the stock AU versions and they fit perfect and don't leak. They are one of the bests mods I have done and our "Fur Kids" love them!

Mine were imported along with a couple saddle tanks and some other parts many years ago. I contacted a "Breaker" - Bone Yard in AU through a buddy who was working there at the time. We each bought some parts and split a container.

My only regret is not buying more parts!

For finding the slider now, maybe SOR or Man-A-Fre, or someone in Canada scraping a LH drive.

Hope you find some

I appreciate the reply and backstory - which, btw, is awesome. Over the past 18 months, I've met a few overseas contacts and have faired 'ok' with them thus far. . .a few NOS parts from time-to-time. I'll do a more extensive search for the OEM AU windows and if it's a fail, I'll go with the SOR sliders.

And I 2nd the only regret is not buying more parts. When I purchased my initial 60, parts were available everywhere. Hindsight is always 20/20!

Shane, most of the aftermarket sliders require the flattening of the pinch weld on the opening, not curved like the AU and OEM glass. Gary @ MUDRAK walked me through the process when I installed some on Marley... They never leaked BUT SQUEAKED ALWAYS on bumpy roads... BEWARE!
