Any 2F mechanics in Las Cruces or El Paso?? (1 Viewer)

I want to have my 2F's compression tested but I am not a savvy mechanic. Are there any mechanics out in the El Paso or Las Cruces area that are reputable mechanics with specifically the 2f engines?

There's a good guy in Silver City "Bill's Toy Shop" that moved there from Tucson.

He's probably too far for you though.

Just about any reputable shop can do the compression test. You can do one yourself pretty easily. A compression guage is about $25 at many auto parts stored....

Belknap in el paso does good work, their right off pelicano and lomaland. are you in el paso or las cruces?

150-165PSI is ideal, with the cylinders within 10 per cent from high to low. Lots of us are driving around with 100-125. Do it yourself, nothing to it, and post your numbers here. Any particular reason to do it?

Here's a tool - just make sure you have the right adapter to screw int ot he spark plug hole (you need to verify, I spent about 15 seconds looking for this link).....
