Or, is yours bigger?

Mine measures 34-1/8" at full extension (from base to bottom of lil button). Looked in the FSM and did a search here as well as on goog, but found nothing that was useful.

Why I ask is:

1) I think I kinked it, and now it doesn't fully extend,

2) I don't get some reception as well as I think I used to, and

3) I'm insecure.

I haven't measured mine, but if you've never replaced it, it's probably time for it since the plastic in it will be breaking soon and it's only $30.

I hate to disappoint ya, mine measures same.

I think my 80's antenna was played with too much because it fell off.

Still get reception, just not the best. Have not felt compelled to get a new one since some other stuff is of greater importance (brakes, hoses, etc).

$30 for the antenna. Time to strap one on, I mean get a new one. Where?
