antenna cable will not come out (1 Viewer)

I am trying to replace my antenna which is bent, the cable comes most of the way out when I push the up button but then it gets hung up.
I have attempted tugging on it but really do not want to break it off (or anything else) in the reel if I can avoid it.
Has anyone come across this? Any tips?

Funny you mention this, I broke my antenna cable just yesterday while pulling from the engine (fender) side. I need to replace the whole thing anyway, but it is quite tight to work down there. Any good source for a new, complete (genuine) Toyota antenna?
