Well, I may not have been in one of my Landcruisers, but the karma just keeps going.

I took my 97 Suburban up to Jawbone on Wednesday so that I could take Tina out for a picnic in the El Pasos in between the Jawbone meeting and the evening WEMO meeting. I had also planned to take along Sophia Merk from the NPL News and Marie Brashear from the National Outdoor Coalition.

Well, Marie decided to stay behind at Jawbone Station to take care of writing e-mails to our state legislature, who are preparing to once again raid the OHV fund we pay for with our 1 cent gas tax. This meant I had an open seat in the Suburban. So guess who ended up coming along?

None other than Cal 4 Wheel's notorious former vice president, Harry Baker!

I was majorly stoked to hear Harry say that the bs from Cal4Wheel has not slowed his interest in land use one bit! But there will be changes. More on this in another thread.
