So, looking at the wiring diagram for early 70 series, it makes a distinction between a oil pressure switch and oil pressure sender. Are there two different senders/sensors on the block? I am trying to find some missing wires from my HJ75 harness that I have messed with doing a rhd to lhd swap. Also installed a 12HT. Thanks

Your picture show the oil pressure sender who talk to the dash gauge. There is actually a another pressure switch who should cut the EDIC if there a lack of oil pressure.

However, I am uncertain whether the 12HT has an oil pressur switch since it does not have an EDIC while this is the case with 2H

I found the original wire in the loom.👍 Have a question about this wire. Why is it a shielded wire?

the shielding is typically used to reduce noise from other components, i would guess so the edic isnt getting any false signals and shutting down the engine. that and its not easy to do a repair on shielded wire so you would have to buy the harness
