HDJ81 owners - maybe you can help in identifying the following parts. My current rig was imported from Japan as a stock HDJ81- RHD. It was then converted in the Philippines to LHD. I came across some pics of an HDJ81 and noticed that there are some parts in the engine bay that I don't have on my rig.

First Pic:
those in red circles - what are these parts - looks like relays?

those in green circles - I have one end of each connector lying in the engine bay. one end is connected to a cable going somewhere near the firewall. But there is no opposite end nor connector. Again, what are these connectors for?

the part in blue circle - what does this thing do - aside from being connected to the brake booster? I have it on my rig and before, the electrical connector was broken. So I just had it resoldered. But don't know what it does and what signal or warning does the electrical connector provide.

Second Pic.
the one in red circle. I definitely don't have this part. Is this part of the brake system? I have the Brake Booster and MC on the left side. My brakes are ok - just have them serviced. This part looks like a mini-MC.

Since my rig has ran ok for 3 years now since we bought it, I take it that these parts are like optional or not really needed to operate the LC.

Hope you can help.

vacuum booster - got it! What does the electric connector provide? Does it turn on the brake light on the dashboard if the vacuum booster is defective or I have a problem on my brakes?

clutch master - this is for a manual transmission, right? Mine is A/T, hence it makes sense that I don't have this.

glow plug relays - then these relays might have been relocated somewhere else - will look for them. My main glow plug is connected to the battery near the air filter.

connectors - they are not hooked up. They are supposed to connect to what?

thanks crushers for the quick response.

Extra Bits

Even if your vehicle is an Auto that is still a clutch master cylinder. Maybe it wasn't always an Auto. Look at the vehicle ID plate and check the code for the trans/axle.

The vacumn canister stores vacumn so thet your brakes work. The electrical connector is for a switch that operates when the vacumn is low and is operates the handbrake lamp on the dash (in most cases).

The connector above the vacumn canister is the diagnostic connector. Not sure what it will tell anyone with the correct hookup for it.

Landcruisers mostly all have the same wiring loom so there are spare connectors in there.

Cheers

this is what i was thinking, RHD to LHD conversion, manual to auto conversion... a lot of converting going on... or they installed a firewall from a LHD unit to facilitate the conversion and just left the clutch cyl on...mayb ethey thought "man this will really mess this boy up" and left the master mounted.
LOL!!

guys - thanks for your inputs.

My Trans/Axle codes: A442F K294. Automatic, right?
