Bought my 1987 FJ60 I bought from a friend. He has owned it since 1989. I was going to spring over it and run 35's, but after reading here for the last couple of months, plans have changed. I am now going to pull the body off and put it on a shortened FJ80 frame. I have been collecting parts for some time. While I am doing the swap, i am doing a 5.3 chevy, 4l60e, toybox 4.7 to splitcase swap. Here are the parts I have so far.
5.3 rebuilt with CA smog equipment
4l60e with all parts to rebuild and uprade to be stronger
Ron Davis Radiator with dual Spal fans
Complete PSC steering setup
Complete 1991 FJ80 donor vehicle
1995 rear full float axle
FJ62 split case
Full revuild kits for both axles and split case from George
Picking up 1997 front FJ80 brake parts this weekend
4.88 ARB rear third
I still need a lot, but a ton of the big money stuff is purchased. There will be more to come in the very near future.
