Have a 73 FJ40 with a sbc. When I did the original install I used the old front saddle mount from Downey. I am currently doing a ps conversion and would like to use the Bob Firestine mounts. My question is will the Bob Firestine mounts place the engine in the same position side to side as the front saddle mount? With the tc rear mount being fixed, I really would like to keep the engine in the same position. If this is not possible with the Bob Firestine mounts, whose weld in mounts would you guys recomend? Also does anyone have Bob Firestine's contact info?

I lost his email, but its something like gutsrus2k@yahoo.com. Search for Bob Firestein and you'll find it.

the mounts put the motor in the center of the frame. So if you had your motor offset before, you'll need to adjust some things.
Height is adjustable on the mounts.

They are a really sweet set up. Easy to install the motor into.

good luck-
Dustin
