Another day another problem -exhaust manifold bolt not lining up (3 Viewers)

Well i was hoping this was gonna be easy but that was foolish.
Rearmost bolt hole on my manifold isnt even close to the hole on the block

Any ideas how to massage this so it will work?? I was thinking to unbolt the whole affair and start with that bolt partially in and then try to get the rest to go

Any tips mudders??

Yes, that is always the best solution when assembly woes happen. Just loosen though, no need to remove.

I'm dealing with a warped exhaust manifold situation right now too and some Mud research suggests loosening bolts between intake and exhaust manifolds, and all the nuts to the head studs to get everything started, then tighten them up.

Yours looks pretty good compared to mine!

you tightend ALL the center SANDWICHED hardware LAST after you tourque all the block face bolts ....
