    sup fellas,

i'm puttin the float back in the bowl, and i noticed that the spring might be a little "old"?

with the float and assembly oriented properly, the float hangs down about 80 degrees from horizontal.

is it supposed to be closer to horizontal or am i mistaken? i figured so due your ability to adjust the "dry float setting".

with the fuel bowl inverted, you're supposed to adjust the float til it's in the middle.

mine hits the bottom (actual top) of the bowl when i invert it.

    soo questions:

is the spring supposed to be that slack?

how do i adjust the float?

    thanks,
    malphrus

    nevermind nevermind nevermind.

seriously. i love this forum. i come here, post questions, reread my instructions (i'm an engineering major, who needs em?), and then actually follow them.

    ha ha.

    thanks,

    well,

it wasn't exactly directions. the page said put it back together in reverse order, so that means i would have stuff in there already that i didn't factor in.

soo, i get out on a technicality. ha ha
