98’ with 330k miles, well maintained.
My abs light illuminates at idle with the brake pedal depressed and released. It turns off when throttle is applied but comes back on when throttle is released to coast or when applying the brakes. Brake pedal feel is normally fine, but every so often I get a very soft response similar to a vacuum leak and it’s accompanied with delayed brake pedal release (as if the pedal is stuck down) if I’m sitting at a red light for a while.
I’m guessing this is a sign that the ABS system is about to s*** the bed but I’m really hoping it’s something else that doesn’t involve several thousands of doll hairs in repairs.
