Wow. Just wow.

Rons work for the day, had to modify one panel to fit into the passenger side as we deleted the fuel tank and Ron comes through with the mods to make it look great. The other side rear mount
Looks just as good as the original so there you have it. What are your thoughts.

This is the other side for today, what we did was get a driver side piece from Real steel and flop the sides so it would fit on the passenger side which it would eliminate the gas tank indent, So a good day was had. BTW RON did 2-36” welded without warping the metal. That is pretty spectacular metal work in anybody’s book. Now onto the rockers much easier.

The doors went off to the media blaster, the bottoms are gone as seen in the picture but overall they are in good shape. A little paint and rust removal, slice and dice and back to new.

Got the doors back from the blaster today not as much damage as I thought on the bottoms. Have new patch panels for reconstruction, however I will grind out the previous bondo to get to clean metal and do it right, straighten the indentation to make it right. Things are looking good and should be good to start repairs.

Starting on the door bottoms inside and out to get the Swiss cheese metal cut out so the rust beetles don’t take hold again, finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Will post future pics to show the progress as it comes.
