Wow. Thanks for posting some pictures, from back in the day NMHDC. I am rather new to this group, so it is nice to see some historic photos of the good old days.

Spot 4 is opening up.. I am not going to be able to make this trip at least not the whole week. I could possibly end up going out Friday, but would have to figure something out.
I'm going to call and cancel at 10am. let me know if you would like this spot.

@Onur I'm not sure I would have recognized you until you opened your mouth! I had no idea that's what your chin looked like...

Everything is open again

When is everybody heading out? I will most likely leave early tomorrow morning.

Well crew quarantine is causing us to not be able to go again. You all have a great time!

Jill is going to try and fill spot 10 with someone from the group. If you feel like switching spots give her a call.

Hi, we are heading up tomorrow morning and still looking for a camp site. I will give them a call and see if I can get one of these opening up.
My son and I really want to do the alpine loop. Is staying near Lake City a bad place if we do that and still can’t get anything in Ouray?

For anyone that wants to see the start of a Cummins 2.8 repower in a 60 your welcome to stop by the house in Grand Junction on the way out of town after SAS. PM me for the address.

I have the engine and adapter and will be pulling the 2F out on Monday.

Great to see some old folks from years past and meet the new HDC folks. Thanks for inviting us Ali.

Sorry we had to leave after only one day, but today was nothing but removing lice from Katie’s hair. Another session tomorrow with prescription meds. Poor girl. My wife and @kasassy were not happy...

And thanks to Larry and Virgil for the **solid** libations. :)

We were so disappointed to have not been able to join you all. I was really looking forward to spending time with you guys.

Have a great weekend and please post lots of pics for us!

well, this is TOTE-ally emBEARassing. This is what happens when you leave out a tote with food in it. I had to recover this up the hill along with the food wrappers after a black bear took it from our campsite last night.
The Actionpacker survived and will serve double duty. food storage and a reminder not to be stupid.

Poor dumb bear. Sadly, I fear his end draws near. Yogi is a big lazy animal and once he figures out the pick-a-nick basket is the easy way to food he will keep going back to Jellystone Park. This makes the bear not afraid of people. Once they aren't scared of people they become even more dangerous.

Bear tote retrieval!!
