They are 16" rims ... got comanche 33 x 12.5 x R15LT tires. Hope this helps you in your decision...
Thanks for the info....I'm impressed that you could squeeze 15' tire onto a 16" rim. That must have been a stretch
Seriously though, I do like the look of that 16" rim vs. the 15" that I was thinking of running. Thanks a lot and sweet ride......
15" tire on a 16" rim???
Not a good idea.
I need edumacation on rim/tires as obvious as it is...The tire measures are in this thread, but I put a tape measure to the rim and the diameter is 16"...what's up with this...?
Back to rookie status...
Dont feel bad, I put 33 1250 on 15 inch rims on my 66 FJ40 and tore up my Tie rod end before I figured out I had to put spacers on....... Im learnin this stuff as I go
The bead seat area is 15"....the outside lip of the wheel that you are including in the measurement does not count...
You will get this 15" measurement, if you subtract one-half inch from the top and bottom of the wheel, which is the thickness of the lip.
Thanks Poser....Andy...15" rims not 16"
Cool. Thanks, and I still like the look.
Don't feel bad. I could fill up this forum with the things that I don't know
