I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if loop-pile carpet ever came in a 91-92 80 series? Any of you have it / seen it? I thought all Land Cruisers changed to cut-pile carpet after the 62 series, but I've run into a '91 truck that has loop-pile in it, and the owner wants to match it.

Again, I was thinking they all had cut-pile by that time, but I'm trying to find out if I'm wrong. Aftermarket, maybe?

Granted, not a very exciting topic, but I just need some info from those in-the-know.

Had to go look. My 92 has loop pile. I do not think it has ever been replaced.

Wow! OK, well, that should settle it then. Evidently, the early 80s - at least some of them - were loop, while the later ones were cut pile.
