That's right gents, the day finally came where Amy got her hew shoes. YAY!!!!

The obligatory “before” shots, when she first arrived she was on 275/70/R16’s
Then the Old Man Emu front and back went in, 2.75” obtained in the front and 3” in the back with 10mm coil spacers and long travel shocks all round.
I picked up some 315/70/R17 BFG AT’s, we don’t have mud or rock here, only sand and gravel so they where the best choice…. only the best for my
.
So I headed down t the car area to see what I could get to take the new tyres (original rims where 16 and I couldn’t get any 315’s in 16, I also happen to be a big fan of the tyre to rim ratio of the 315’s on 17’s I think they look PERFECT!
I managed to find some Toyota 5 spoke steelies with no visible seams, I don’t know what they are from, possibly a tomaca or sequida or tundra? All the cruiser ones I have seen have seams…. Again I saw these and thought they were perfect. A little agricultural but still blatantly Toyota and from 10m away they look like the stock alloys.
This was one of about 20/25 shops I could choose rims from… most of which are cruiser/lexus rims
We tested one on the front and one on the back and the backspacing was perfect, id equate it to running 1.5” spacers. It really entertains me that the tyre is half the height of the little Indian guy
Stock cruiser on the left with lexus wheels, 33” dune tyres and a bit of stink bug going on as a comparison.
