Amp issues? (1 Viewer)

My radio just went dead silent. The screen works, volume control works antenna works but no sound what so ever. Could this still be the amp if my volume control know still works?

Something similar happened in my 1998 LX (245k mi) about a year ago. I took it to a car stereo shop, who said a problem with the factory subwoofer short circuited the factory radio amp (underneath the passenger seat).

Ultimately, they shipped the amp to a repair shop, who repaired it for $450. I then reinstalled the amp without connecting it to the subwoofer input. Now everything works again, but the subwoofer remains inactive of course.
