I know that all the gizmos inside a door are pretty intimidating.....but it's easy. If your doing a full swap, just pull them off and bolt on.....if you have to switch hardware....I'd consult a haynes manual or something if youre nervous.
i have a 71 also,i put a newer h/t on it and went with amby doors but i modified mine by cutting them in half.they worked out ok but i now have the stock lift hatch.i want to change to that because i started hating the line of site in my rearview mirror.just a thought you might want to consider
