Hey folks,

Title says it all. I neglected to put caliper grease (that little pink packet that comes with the kit) on on the piston cups and seals during the caliper rebuild for the front rotors. Its bugging the hell out of me but I can't think of a reason why there would be risk there...

Looking for some piece of mind. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Sweet, sweet relief. It's a rare case on Mud when one's truck isn't going to explode because of something one did. Always like when it works out in my favor.

I found myself without grease during a late night swap and used Vick's Vapor rub. No problems to report a month later.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I have rebuilt plenty with nothing but brake fluid as a lube.
i thought this is what you were supposed to use...

On the cups and seals? Yeah... I do I guess if I'm paying attention, but it doesn't stay there long afterwards. Nothing to worry about.
