always wanted a pond (1 Viewer)

Just getting around to posting up thiese pics of what I came home to on Thurs. One thing I have always wanted was to take the lower part of the property and put in a pond. This one was short lived. I's never flooded like this in the 27 yrs we've been here.

Wow! I only had a small stream flowing through my yard. My sump pump was running every other minute for days, but my basement stayed dry.

How may feet deep is that water? The last picture looks like it is flowing at a pretty good rate.

no more mud boggin. Josh used to tear that area up with his gocart.

The last picture is the wet weather creek that is typically dry or only a few inches. There was at least 5' at that time. The basement stayed dry other than seeping in around the sewer line going thru the wall, nothing major. The sump pump did it's job.

My mother had 56" in her basement with 3 sump pumps running. Her house was surrounded by water.
she's in northern PA the town got flooded good.
