I've just pulled an old dual battery isolator out of my 1997 DX hzj80r to install a new one, the old unit required a direct input from the alternator where as the one I'm going to put on does not. The issue I'm having is trying the find the old factory wire that joins the alternator to the starting battery. There is only one cable that it could possibly be however the ring terminal on the said cable is too small for the stud on the alternator, first thought was to drill it out but how did it connect to the alternator from factory then? I'm very lost at this point and not sure where to go from here hahah, If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!!!
I can try to add some photos tomorrow,
Thank you!!

Pics will always help.

But you will have to post more to be able to put up pics. There is a minimum number of post needed to be able to post up pictures. 5 or 10 I think
