Alternator Plug (1 Viewer)

This is from my 12HT but from what I understand this plug is used on diesel and gasser alternators. I need the plug
that is attached to the truck harness. I have a new alternator but this plug has damaged / cracked wires. Really
need replacement. Can anyone help me with a source for this?

do you want to replace the plug (housing) or the wires? If the housing is OK, you can splice in new wire and put new spade connectors on the ends that fit into the plug housing. someone like @ToyotaMatt may have the correct electrical housing.

2F and 3FE harnesses plug right i to the alternator. I think that housing is specific to the 12HT alternators. We can have a much easier time helping you source a replacement and the correct terminals if you take a picture of the inside mating face

I appreciate that. Problem, which I hadn't thought of was to take a photo of the inside. I'm a month from getting back home.
The alternator plug should be identical between a 2H and 12HT alternator. Just gutting the plug and rebuilding had not
occurred to me.

There are a variety of wiring harness repair manuals posted in the "resources" section: Unclassified - https://forum.ih8mud.com/resources/categories/unclassified.18/

I looked through some but couldn't really figure out if this plug is still listed (oldest manual dates from 2000). But in the early chapters there are general procedures for repair/disassembling. There are also some good threads on mud, I'm just not exactly sure where...

Yup, and apparently USPS can't find the door to a multi-million dollar aviation FBO in Provo. So I will go to the post office this morning
