Will a alternator from a Toyota Hi-Lux 2.4 diesel ( 27030-54130 ) bolt onto a 1984 BJ42 3B ? Both are externally regulated. Thanks

I believe the 2.4 alternator mounting would require a different alternator adjustment bar. The adjuster tab is 180 from the fixed side whereas the B is offset.
