trying to find info…is this the part number on the tag 27060 61021 for a nippondenso? I can’t find much of anything to identify this.
the second number on the tag is 100211 0211
not sure if this is original or not.

27060-61021 is the toyota part #

you have a 3 wire green plastic plug connector on the back side correct ?

just like these example pics ?

I believe that’s a 50amp alternator installed between 8/75 and 2/76. I think you probably ment 27020 - 61021. I didn’t see any alternator listed that started with 27060. Is this on your Canadian 79 FJ40?

Here is a pic of the tag. Yes is off this Canadian 79’ but as with most things I’m not sure if it came with it or not. I’d like to get it rebuilt but finding someone to do that up here might be difficult.

I managed to get mine rebuilt…. Cleaned up and had a bad diode. Starter was overhauled as well.
mine just had the 2 wire plug.

I show this was an optional 50 Amp alternator used 8/75-2/76.

79 used one that the part number ended in 80 or 81 and was 55 Amp.

are you saying that 2 wire green plug unit in your photo above is a 61021 ?



a 2 wire green plug did not start till 1/79 ?

that is correct Matt… 2wire is 61021. my alternator guy hadn’t see one like this so caused him some grief.
I need to ask you sometime about my wiper switch.

the problem lies in there IS a 27020-61021 also ..........

i have never seen toyota double up a 27020 and 27060 part number last 545 sequence before ?

odd as all get out ?
