I have looked for a thead about all the abbreviations and not found one. So I thought I'd get one started for me and others. Please define what some of these are and add others you don't know or you think would be helpful, I'll start with a few:confused::

ROTW = Rig Of The Week
DIN = Deutsches Institut für Normung
ZPU = зенитная пулемётная установка (this one only applies to 40s 45s with full float rear axles)

More practically, DIN is a standard size for automobile radios/similar in-dash accessories. Single DIN is the regular, 2x7 inch size, and double DIN is 4x7.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

VCV = Vacuum Control Valve

EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation

HAI = Hot Air Intake

Some of those are in manuals, but every little bit helps right? :)

DIN also refers to a set of standards created by the Deutsches Institut für Normung. Commonly used when discussing bolts, there are SAE standard thread sizes (like 1/4-20 or 1/2-13), DIN standard thread sizes (like M6x1.00 or M10x1.50). Cruisers use JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) hardware, which share the same thread designations as DIN bolts but have smaller head sizes. For example a DIN M12 bolt will have a 19mm head, while a JIS M12 bolt will have 17mm head.
