All the warning lights coming on (again)

Last year I had a drama with all my warning lights coming on, the temperature high, not being able to turn off, and generally scaring the crap out of me. Fortunately one of the belts was broken and caused all that.

Overtaking a car yesterday, and they all came on again - both turbo lights, the filter light, the auto gearbox light and the battery light. Temperature was normal and the vehicle (BJ74) was driving like normal. It shut off normal.

Starting up the vehicle today, all the warning lights are back on.

Any Ideas?

I was wonderng if the belt that replaced the 1st one needs a retighten?
My Volvo belt tensioner broke off the other day and of course the belt went loose. Had very similar symptoms to your LC
Yours may have just enough tension to cause an on/off situation

does reving it up turn them off?

Good point

Any Auto electrician should be able to do it while you wait.
Or go for an exchange unit from one of the biger players. (Repco, etc)

He is a very honest man and always does a good job.

If its the regulator ,you could buy one and fit it yourself. You might even get a new one for $300 these days at Ashdown Ingram
