That seemed like a nice one. I think to address the "NW" comment that the climate up here is nice for cars. Not as nice as say Virginia/Carolinas but it's very little salt, not harsh sun, etc. So if a car is parked in a garage every night around here they end up cosmetically looking very nice for decades.

In the case of this 80, I have to say it was the Emerald Green color that led to the price run up. Everyone knows the green is THE color to have....

No way I'd pay that. If I was gonna get one that expensive it'd be an all original 40th with that low of mileage. That one's even missing the wood grain. Small detail I know but I can't see buying one with that low mileage to drive. Seems like something to save/collect which you would want to be original. At least it comes with the cup holder and CDL switch

It spent most of it's life in NJ & MA. Interior looks nice, but dang. $27,600?

For that price you could have one amazingly built 80 with around 150k on the odometer.

OR...a minty über low mileage, showroom stock, still has that new car scent, heavy duty AWD suv which was msrp'd at $60K 13 years ago land cruiser.

...not everyone wants a locked and lifted off road beast rolling on 37s (i do though..) ;)

i wouldnt buy it for 27K. but obviously, those that would, arent looking for an efficient A to B'er. this is a specialty vehicle, not in the same leage as your average used soccermom mobile. if i had 27K burning a hole in my pocket, id buy it, paint it gun metal grey, and drop in a 1HD-FT in it... :steer::clap::steer:

Might still have original brake fluid... :hmm:

Is that a black power steering reservoir I'm seeing? Is that normal?

I wouldn't buy it, but compare it to a newer slightly used tahoe. It's cooler, tougher, cheaper, more reliable vehicle. Yeah it's old, but besides that there isn't anything else to depreciate it's value from the $60k it started at new. Just another point of view.

Exactly.

I agree 100%.

Makes me wonder why the sub-8,000 mile LX450 only went for $19K and change a couple of years ago.

$27K seems like an exorbitant amount of money for one of these. If the bids are legit, that is one happy seller.

It is a nice 80, but I wonder how legit the bidder is. New to ebay in last 30 days, zero feedback. Bid history is really weird looking too - I get how proxy bid works, but the bid history normally just shows the high bid once, not same bid 20-30 times. Good luck to the seller collecting the cash.
