Hi everyone,

I am a new '95 LC Owner, I got it back in October of '04. It is a standard stock LC but it doesn't have an alarm/keyless entry function. I am looking to put one on in the next month.

Which is good? I don't want to put on something cheap or crappy that will short out my battery or screw with my power locks. I want something that is long-lasting without many problems after installation.

Beowulf (alarm expert) I have been looking at the 2-way pager LCD alarms with the keyless entry, silent arm, valet option, etc. Is this good?

Please, ANYONE, help me with whatever info you got!! Thanks!!

First of all, welcome to the group. As far as reliability is concerned, I would recommend the Toyota Alarm. I found one on e-bay and installed it in my 95. It's basically a plug & play installation. I've had it for about 4 years with no problems at all. Only downside is the range of the remote is pretty limited.
