***As of the evening of 7/31/12, all are claimed except the vertical defrost, the ECT, and the deck lamp***

Have a few switches from walking around the local junk yard the other day. One of the horizontal defrosts, the two hazards, and the deck lamp lack pigtails. the deck lamp has wires going out the back to it's own female harness.

As most people know, the hazard is a plug and play for CDL on 95-97 80's (well, with a little plastic trimming). The red background hazard has been modified already to plug into the CDL wiring harness for the 95-97 FZJ.

$12 shipped each in the USPS to the US for the hazards and the deck lamp.

$8 shipped each in the USPS to the US for the rest.

Sales pending on the hazards and fan switch...

Updated the first post for what's current...

The defrosts, do they say "TIME" in large letters on the switch body? Those shut off after about 20 mins of use.

No, they don't. But they have two of the grey "dial-in" circles whereas the hazards only have one... what are those things for?

I'm confused. It appears that the hazard switches are gone based on the thread. This update makes me think that they are still available. If so, I'll take one. Thanks.

Those are lights. All switches have at least one light that go on when you turn on your lights. The second bulb is used for switched "on" lighting. Such as the defroster telling you they are active. These are good for engine fans. The timed are perfect for seat heaters

You know there are three types of defrost switches Toyota made, right? One is with the word TIME stamped on it side which when you push it to on, it never locks, then there is the one that pin 2 and pin 6 always have continuity regardless if the switch is off or on, and the third one is the one where pin 2 and pin 6 connect/disconnect when on/off:beer:.

Yes, there are two more now available, hence the post where I said it's updated for what's current. So, one of them's got your name on it. I'll PM you later this evening.

They are both spoken for at the moment. If either falls through, I'll let you know. Thanks.

So does that mean that if, for instance, your CDL switch is not lighting when you turn on the lights, that the bulb in the switch is burnt out? Or does the CDL plug not have a wire to light the switch when lights are turned on? Perhaps this conversation is better moved to the 80 tech section, but I ask here anyway.

The CDL switch, or at least mine, does not have a switched light on the switch itself. The switch activates the light on the dash. The CDL light itself should only come on when you turn on your head lights. if the light never comes on on the switch, the little bulb may have burned out. If the dash light for CDL doesnt come on then THAT light may be burned out as well. Of course neither of these issues have anything to do with the actual working condition of your CDL, only the lighting of it.

Well, whaddya know? So I had not turned the lights on yet with my new CDL switch. It lights up as you describe. I had a non-light hazard in for the CDL until the other day, but haven't had occasion to turn the lights on with the new switch yet. So your post also prompted me to change the bulb in my defrost switch in the LX. I had previously thought the defrost label didn't light up... it didn't occur to me that there is a bulb and that it was out. It's like a whole new dash now!

You wouldn't happen to know if the radio up/down button is supposed to light up? I couldn't get that switch out readily to check and see if it does.

What do you have left? I'm interested in a switch or two. Nothing spilffy needed- just two general switches with indicator lights when on. Thanks.

I'll take the hori. defrosts if Not Timed

The horizontal defrosts are not timed, to the best of my knowledge. They're yours... I'll PM you.

I've only got the vertical defrost that has the indicator light which is left unclaimed. I also have the deck lamp and the ECT button. However, if any of the other sales fall through or if I get another one with the indicator light, I'll PM you.
