AISIN carb

ell ive checked the lot on this carb,new diaphragm(vacuum secondary) carb was o/hauled by an old guy,runs and starts fine but that vacuum secondary must take a lot to kick in,done the paper clip thing and it worked once,the vac holes are clean as,ithe secondary just dont want to kick in even when i work the engine hard,dont know,LOST on this one,thanks

The vacuum secondary is not readily adjustable on Aisan carbs. On Holleys, there are different springs that can be used to adjust the secondary opening rate. You could do the same thing for your Aisin by finding weaker springs so it would open with less vacuum. Google Holley vacuum secondary to see how they adjust them.
