Airbag/Seatbelt Lights On

Noticed that the airbag light on dash (on tach) was illuminated and the “airbag off” was lit when a passenger was in the seat. Seatbelt light was also flashing even though passenger was buckled in. The passenger is my 15yo daughter so she is more than 50lbs and should trip the sensor to enable the airbag.

Has anyone seen this before? 14’ w/90k miles

I did disconnect the battery to see if it reset anything, but the behavior remains the same.

There was a passenger side seat belt recall.

Call your dealer, give them your VIN. They will order the new seatbelt. Takes them about 90 mins to install once they get the part.
