Brian is good people. Stopped by today to take a look and try to get at it. New plan of attack is to try to drill the injector/nozzle out and keep the original threads, and then plug it up. Started at 3/8, increasing by 1/64 increments. Been continuing to use a magnet to get the little shavings. More updates to come.

SUCCESS!

Bought a drill bit index, and began working my way into larger bits 1/64” at a time. I’d drill, then use a magnet to get the scraps. Even got into the block to get any bigger ones I missed.

As I was backing out the 31/64, the remaining bit of the injector nozzle started to back out right with it!

Honestly, an incredible feeling to get it done and not have to revert to some home brewed solution that would be less than pretty.

Onto the rest of the desmog after I take a minute to enjoy this victory.
