Hi there,

After a lot of research, I coudn't really find an answer that points the difference between oem clamps for the air intake hose sold by Mr. Toyota that looks the same but have different part#s.

I got a new air intake hose for the LX450 as the current one looks like a stone sculpture but after checking the Toyota website for the oem parts, these clamps have 2 part numbers and so far, it is not quite clear what is the difference between the 2. Below is the part diagram:

That code "17882A" for the clamps points to these two part#s, the only ones that fit the LX450/LC97:

I decided to go to the Toyota car dealer around here and ask about the difference between the two, nobody could really point or explain the difference to me so I end up buying one of each to try as they are not that expensive. I read somone on the net saying that one clamp is for the left and the other one is for the right side of the hose. Still, not quite sure about that. Even after comparing the ones installed with the new ones, I don't see a lot of difference. The only difference is the price, one is $6 more than the other.

That said, does anybody knows the difference between the air intake hose clamps part#96111-10900 / #96111-10930?

Is it just the metal type or or is there something else?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
