Air conditioning Install question- 82 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,
I’m attempting to install a universal underdash AC Evaporator on my 82 FJ40.
I’ve noticed the main heater duct under the dash will be in the way of the evaporator fan coil.
Was wondering if any of you ran into this issue and what you did to make the fan coil fit.
First pic is of a fellow Landcruiser owner that installed a underdash evaporator fan coil.

There is a slanted duct to accommodate AC in late model 40's. It is NLA, but can sometimes find them on here.
