Wunder if someone have gone this way?
have to try it se if i got some more flex on the axels.
looked at some trucks that were using air bags and was inpressed by the simplicity of the mekaniks and the smoth ride...

ummm, the shock mount is in the middle of the springs in the front of the LJ...

The Prado 2 link suspension with the shocks in the coils can still flex pretty good. The shocks move with the coils and Chris here has never had any issues. Change the bushings to some poly ones and it will allow it to flex.

hummm, my testing showed the oposite to be true, the poly were more stiff than the rubber bushings and retarted flex...

Did/do you grease them?
Greasing them makes a lot of difference.

With 4in 80 series springs front and rear the prado suspension flexes well in his Surf. With the 4in zeal my Prado flexes ok will have to see if there is a difference when I put the new bushings in there. If I remember right when the bushing were first installed the flex was OK but it took awhile for them to "break in" I guess.
