I know, I know. OEM. But. A new one from Toyota is $300. Does anyone have any good experience with a third party one they can recommend? I'd sure love to save some dough. I am also considering trying to tackle a rebuild. It's a '94.

When I rebuilt my engine I went with a Cardone or something like that. That was a year ago. No issues so far. The original still worked. So hard to compare 1 year to 25 years for oem. But we will see.

If you want to save money, rebuild.

Kits are inexpensive.

Not that difficult to do.
