Hey Guys,

The LX I picked up had an aftermarket amp installed and it’s not putting out any sound. Does anyone have a tutorial on how wire it? 04 with nav and Mark Levinson sound system.

Search for electronic wiring diagram and you will find wiring on p394 I think. Or search EWD field service manual, someone uploaded PDFs.
But before you do that, are there speakers in the doors? Could be seller stripped stuff out. Is aftermarket amp fully hooked up...
Unclear what exactly you are asking... is there an aftermarket head unit somewhere? Unless prior owner went all out with line output converters etc etc they may have bypassed entire stock audio system...
Good luck

For basically diagnosing an aftermarket amp, just see if there's an indicator light that says if its powered on. If its on but theres no sound, you gotta start checking speaker wires. If its not powered on, you gotta figure out why its not getting power. The amp needs two wires to turn it on. It should have a heavy guage red wire, that should have 12V all the time. If it doesn't have 12V, gotta figure out why. Is there an in-line fuse on that wire that is blown?
Now, the other wire it needs is the remote wire from the head unit. Its the way for the head unit to tell the amp to actually kick on, by delivering 12V whenever the radio is turned on. It's just a switch, and it will draw most power through the heavy guage wire. You can basically use anything for the remote wire though, as long as it just kicks on when you want it on, and its not on when the car is turned off. If both of those have power, and its not turning on, then there should also be a big ground wire going to the chassis (-) somewhere. Make sure its making good clean contact to bare metal and bolted in tight. If its got good ground and both of those other hot wires have 12V, and it doesn't turn on, then amp may be blown.
